Bayside Seafood Grill & Bar
“Had delicious meal–rack of lamb, barbeque shrimp skewers, pecan crusted MahiMahi, lobster bisque, Caesar salad. Very nice wine list by the glass or bottle. Beautiful views of Venetian Bay! Great service! Will definitely go back!”
“We love coming to Bayside after church to have a lively conversation about the sermon. It is quiet enough for my in-laws who have hearing problems to hear and be engaged in the discussion. And we love the food and the view!”
“My wife and I returned to Bayside Seafood Grill & Bar for our 44th Anniversary dinner. We shared “Baked Brie with Raspberry Sauce” (excellent) as an appetizer with our initial beverages from the bar. We chose not to have salads but ordered “Miso Glazed Chilean Sea Bass” (my wife’s favorite) there, and I ordered “Rack of Lamb with Mint Pesto” (my favorite). Both were cooked to perfection and of ample portion. We shared a chocolate cake for dessert with coffee. Our server, Hector, was very accommodating to our wishes to delay our main course, and helped suggest a good wine while we sat at a window overlooking Venetian Bay in Naples. We will no doubt return again soon.”
Ridgway Bar & Grill
“We had great dinners. I started with a delicious cup of gazpacho. The blackened mahi with the remoulade sauce and breaded eggplant strips with a zesty side of tomato based sauce were absolutely mouth-watering. The salmon was cooked perfectly and the accompanying vegetables were perfectly prepared. Tony Ridgway cannot be outdone in Naples. We can’t wait to get back and order the same.”
“Such a terrific meal. We sat outside in the garden next to the fountain which made for a lovely setting. We both had fish and in both cases it was expertly prepared. The by-the-glass wine list offered some interesting selections (the Albarino was particularly good). Our server was a delight. We’ll definitely be back.”
“Delicious ! Loved sitting on the porch overlooking the garden….charming, tropical ambience. Very cheery atmosphere. Hanger steak was perfect. Best clam chowder anywhere and I’m from New England. The brownie sundae is a superlative indulgence.”
“I have been eating at Tony Ridgeway’s restaurants for probably 35 years. Some have been excellent and some have been ho hum. My latest visit to Ridgeway’s is exactly why I keep coming back. The meal, the service, and the atmosphere were top notch. There is a comfort level there that is hard to find in many restaurants. I would recommend this place to anyone and I will be back.”
“Had delicious dinner-mussel appetizer, rogue salad, shrimp & grits, snapper picatta, short ribs, carrot cake, & millionaire coffee. Great wine list, great service, & atmosphere! LOVE this restaurant & will definitely go again & again!”
Tony’s Off Third
“We stopped here to take a break from art-gallery-gawking and window-shopping in Old Naples, just long enough to sample excellent coffee and a few of the delectable pastries – of which a wide assortment is offered – at a comfortable outdoor table. A real gem!”
“The best wine selection (along with some inexpensive offers), some great coffee and pastries and some excellent gourmet food for the lunch crowd makes Tony’s Off Third a great choice anytime during the day for the Naples crowd.”
“If you are looking for a nice bottle of wine in the Naples area, you should go to Tony’s FIRST. The wine manager is extremely helpful, knowledgeable and will be able to resolve any oeno-issue that you may have. Heavily focused on California, with some real surprises like Duckhorn, Provenance, Opus and Silver Oaks at great great prices.”
“Tony’s Off Third is simply charming and whoever came up with the brilliant idea of housing a coffee/pastry shop in a wine store is genius. It’s ingenuity like this that really keeps this town evolving. Glorious muffins, pastries, and croissants are always to be had at Tony’s and don’t be fooled by their lack of coffee pizazz. It’s also REALLY good and they always have several different varieties. Unfortunately, there aren’t very many areas to sit inside on the odd cool day in Naples, but the patio the rest of the time is a fabulous spot to sit and enjoy the paper…with a coffee and a muffin of course.”
