Crispy Fish This Week!
![]() September was a blur, as all of Southwest Florida dealt with prepping for followed by cleaning up from and getting back to normal after Hurricane Irma, but October felt just as quick, welcoming some of our earlier arriving seasonal residents back to town, getting the restaurants into shape for the fall, finalizing menus, and looking forward to a busy season. It’s nice to know that, as fast as time seems to go by, there are certain constants to look forward to.
This Friday, Ridgway Bar & Grill serves its monthly Crispy Fish dinner special, a favorite from the golden days of Truffles Café. Florida Grouper is fried and served over rice and stir-fried vegetables with an Asian-inspired sauce. Your order includes a choice of a Caesar or Artisanal Green salad to begin.
Please let us know you’re coming by making a reservation ahead of time – we appreciate the heads up, since prep for this dish takes a little extra time for the kitchen.

Tony’s Off Third Bakery Tasting
![]() Be sure to mark your calendars for November 1 for our next complimentary bakery tasting at Tony’s Off Third! These always popular events welcome you into our shop to taste samples of many of our favorite items – both the classics you know and love and the new creations Tony, Clifford and team are regularly working to perfect. Stop by on November 1 anytime between 3pm and 6pm, and bring a friend! You’ll most likely see Tony there – after all, the bakery is his first love, and he is always happy to talk about the products, techniques, and passion that go into our scratch-made cakes, cookies, pastries, breads, and more.

New Menus at Ridgway Bar & Grill
October at Ridgway always means new menus are ready for the perusing and tasting. On our lunch, brunch, dinner, and Courtyard menus, you’ll notice new and modified items, some inspired by Tony and Wynne’s summer travels (you must check out the new bone marrow and octopus appetizer on our dinner menu, and the whipped ricotta with heirloom tomatoes). Some, such as the permanent addition of the Usinger’s Bratwurst sandwich on the lunch and Courtyard menus, are more nostalgic in origin, a direct connection back to Tony’s first restaurant in Naples, The Wurst Place. And of course Sukie always keeps our wine lists up to date and featuring a wide range at a variety of price points. We hope you come for a visit soon and find a new favorite! As always, we are open for lunch and dinner (and happy hour!) daily, and brunch on Saturdays and Sundays.

Restaurant Week’s First Bite
![]() The next installment of Naples Restaurant Week isn’t until the very end of November and into December, but be sure to buy your tickets to their First Bite menu release event on November 15, again hosted by Mercedes Benz of Bonita Springs, and benefitting the Naples Humane Society and Gulf Coast Humane Society. We’re looking forward to participating at First Bite on November 15, and of course in Restaurant Week itself in just over another month!

Thank you to Third Street South!
The days leading up to Hurricane Irma’s arrival were chaotic and stressful, and the days and weeks immediately after were long, hot, and uncertain. We couldn’t have successfully come through either the before or the after without the key assistance from Justin Collins and the team from Third Street South. From their help in securing the buildings before the storm, to their efforts on the ground as soon as the storm had cleared, their help was instrumental, and incredibly appreciated. We are proud to be members of the Third Street South Merchants Association, and wanted to give credit where credit is most certainly due – thank you, Justin and Third Street!

A Final Note on Some Ongoing Phone Troubles…
While we were fortunate and thankful to suffer no truly significant damage from Hurricane Irma, unfortunately our phone system did take a hit and we’re very sorry if you’re having trouble reaching us by phone right now. We very much do want to hear from you, though, so here are a few alternative ways to reach us:
