We’ve just completed another successful winter season at Ridgway Bar & Grill and Tony’s Off Third. Cold winter rains tried their best to knock us down, and perhaps the Naples tourist economy was a little soft the past few months, but we prevailed and are proud that
business overall was even slightly up during a trying period.
The entire crew did a fantastic job, making busy nights look easy. We may recall one night when things got a little out of hand, but that goes with the business, and hopefully we did our best to ensure an enjoyable dining experience even if the kitchen was scrambling a little.
A sincere and enthusiastic thanks to all of our guests, especially those of you who visit us frequently! It’s possibly not said often enough, but know that we mean it: you make our business what it is!

Celebrate Summer Season at Ridgway and Tony’s
In recent years, it seems like the practice of local restaurants introducing aggressive summer discounting has become increasingly widespread. Ridgway Bar & Grill, the Courtyard, and Tony’s Off Third have so far chosen to stay on the periphery of those discounting practices, choosing instead to focus on providing the same great service year-round to our local guests who prefer to dine out in the summer months once the crowds have subsided.
This year we’ve decided to take a slightly different tactic, offering what we hope will be an appealing and exciting array of dining specials, starting this coming weekend with our first Saturday night wine flight ($15 for 3 wines specially selected by Sukie), and running into October.
So far the calendar of specials from April through July has been finalized and is available in hard copy at Ridgway and Tony’s or online at Ridgway’s website. Here are the highlights:
Sunday: Get a complimentary ice cream sundae (with homemade chocolate sauce and whipped cream!) with any dinner entrée order
Monday: Tony’s cookies from the cookie jars at $2 each until supplies run out! (limit 3 per person)
Tuesday: All day, at either the Ridgway Bar or in the Courtyard, our signature Pork Tacos at $3.50 each
Wednesday: At dinner in Ridgway or the Courtyard, enjoy a free beer of your choosing with any burger order
Thursday: Every second Thursday of the month, a special dessert will be available for $5 with any dinner entrée order
Friday: Every last Friday of the month, our famous Crispy Fish, with your choice of a mixed greens or Caesar salad
Saturday: Every first and third Saturday of the month starting at 5pm in Ridgway or the Courtyard, enjoy wine flights of 3 specially selected wines for $15. Every second and fourth Saturday, dinner at Ridgway takes on a Southern flair, with Chef Tony’s smoked Niman Ranch ribs plus the fixins’.

Niman Ranch (pronounced with a long “I”) is a name that has popped up on high-end restaurants’ menus for many years. It’s a name that I have been getting more familiar with in the past year. I’ve never been in love with fancy names; just great raw product and that is what Niman Ranch has – great product, and with a great mission and philosophy, as well. They are totally into small farms and all with independent owners. The owners are the farmers. Sustainability is key number two. The product is special, the price well worth it. I hope you enjoy our first foray into pork products from Niman Ranch.
Why ribs at Ridgway Bar & Grill? This won’t be the first time I’ve incorporated them into my menus. Truffles had a weekly special of ribs, the Chef’s Garden had St. Louis ribs on the menu for a season or two, and I love them and hope you will. They will be available on the second and fourth Saturdays of the month during the summer season. I’m planning on serving them with corn pudding, well-seasoned baked beans and sautéed greens. Sides may change according to the whim of the Chef. The ribs will be smoked with a light dry rub and lightly glazed with a BBQ sauce. Extra sauce will be available on the side. I’m hoping you will enjoy them for the great Niman Ranch pork taste and texture.
