Let us apologize for letting this page go untended for so long! We were busy for this whole year on a very important project, which we are happy to announce is finished. Kitchen Privileges, Tony Ridgway’s long awaited cookbook is out and it’s, if we do say so ourselves, beautiful. The book spans more than 500 pages of memoir, techniques, tips, and recipes, all with photos. The title of the book stems from those special tastes and treats you get from being a part of the kitchen team. Tony’s own story is included, from his earliest days in Chester County, Pennsylvania, through today. You’ll have to check to see if your favorite recipe is included! Favorites like the chicken & grapes, carrot cake, and key lime tart are featured.
The book is intended for the casually curious cook as well as the practiced foodie. Learn all about the techniques Tony favors, and kitchen equipment he recommends. Read how to select the right seafood and steak, and, more importantly, how to cook it! You’ll love Tony’s intros to each recipe. Quick snippets of where a recipe came from, or its family significance, or simply why he likes it.
Kitchen Privileges was a family project, written by Tony with support from his wife Wynne, and edited by his daughter Caroline. Wynne’s daughters Allison and Kelly provided essential moral support and taste testing. Above all, this was a passion project. We’re so excited to introduce Kitchen Privileges to everyone! Importantly, we are thankful to all who made this book possible.
